Vision for the Third Sector:

Cardiff's Third Sector thrives and works together to strengthen voluntary and community action by developing skills, potential and knowledge across Cardiff to create sustainable action, creative services and convey its values and beliefs as an influential voice that all people of Cardiff can be proud of.

C3SC is the County Voluntary Council (CVC) for Cardiff:

We are a membership organisation which is open to all voluntary and community organisations (collectively known as the Third Sector) working or based in Cardiff. C3SC is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee, with an elected Board of Trustees.

What is a County Voluntary Council (CVC)?

A CVC is an umbrella or infrastructure organisation for the local Third Sector. Its key role is to provide advice and information to local Third Sector organisations on any issues that may affect them. CVCs also provide Third Sector representation on strategic partnerships, such as the Cardiff Voluntary Sector Compact.

C3SC's Vision:

A strong, diverse and vibrant voluntary and community sector in Cardiff.
