Healthy Ageing into the Future: What is important for us to know?

 

When:       Wednesday 22 January 2020. Refreshments and registration from 10 am. Event starts at 10.30 am and finishes at 12.30 pm

 

Where:       Museum of Cardiff, The Learning Suite (in the Basement), The Old Library, The Hayes, Cardiff, CF10 1BH     

    

                   Tea, coffee and light snacks provided.

 

The Director of Public Health in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan would like to know about the lives of older people in our community. Her annual report this year is all about healthy ageing, and how people experience good health and well-being. The workshop will focus on:

  • Work and retirement
  • Connections with others
  • Places and spaces

We would love to talk to you, the workshop will be facilitated by members of Cardiff and Vale Public Health Team.

We especially welcome Black and Minority Ethnic people, carers, disabled people, lesbian, gay and bisexual people, older people and transgender people as their voices are often not heard by service providers. No special knowledge or experience needed. Free event.
