Engagement Event: GDPR & Cybersecurity

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force on the 25 May 2018. Whatever size or structure your organisation, if you collect and use personal data from donors, beneficiaries, volunteers, staff or any other individuals, the GDPR is likely apply to how you collect and store data.

The next round of Third Sector Support Wales* Engagement Events will provide information and expert guidance to help third sector organisations to ensure their systems and processes become compliant with the new legislation. Whatever your level of understanding of GDPR, these events will offer you the opportunity to find out about the support that is available from Third Sector Support Wales, hear from experts in GDPR and cybersecurity and share your experiences with other third sector organisations. Speakers will include Hugh James law firm and police cyber crime protection officers.

*Third Sector Support Wales is a network of support organisations for the whole of the third sector in Wales. It consists of the 19 local and
regional support bodies across Wales, the County Voluntary Councils (CVCs) and the national support body, Wales Council for Voluntary
Action (WCVA). We work with citizens, volunteers and third sector groups to identify and address what matters to them.
