Early Years Conference 2017 – Children in Wales

6th December 2017 @ 9:30 am - 4:00 pm

Creativity, Resilience and Wellbeing in the Early Years

Children in Wales’ Early Years conference 2017 will focus on research, policy and interventions around children’s creativity, resilience and wellbeing.  They aim to contribute to current debates on how to mitigate the effects of adverse childhood experiences, by exploring the needs of specific groups of children and their families, including care experienced children, children experiencing trauma and attachment issues, disabled, refugees, migrants and those living in poverty. Their Keynote presentation will be given by Professor Gordon Harold, University of Sussex.

Delegates will have the opportunity to hear about and debate on a range of views about how early years services should be responding to meeting children’s needs. They will also be offering workshops focusing on interventions that can support creativity, resilience and wellbeing.
