A one-day Children in Wales course
This course is relevant for managers and practitioners who wish to demonstrate that their intervention has made a difference. Budgets are tight and all organisations need to consider economy and efficiency, but it is important to keep focus on the effectiveness of services. This course will look at measuring the soft outcomes that your intervention has achieved for the people you work with. Participants will explore a range of methods that can be used with all groups – from children and young people to adults.
The course will include:
– Clarification of the terminology used when evaluating the impact of your services
– An exploration of why you need to measure qualitative information and how to do it
– Considering what soft outcomes are relevant to your setting
– Exploring a range of methods for measuring soft outcomes
– How to assess the distance travelled by users of your service
– Using information on outcomes to improve service delivery
COST: Members £80 Non-members £100
