Environet’s natural resources are the cornerstones of our prosperity and quality of life. Yet there is increasing evidence that we are not using these in the best way to promote our economy or well-being. Worse still, we are depleting them at an unsustainable rate with the negative consequences of this being felt hardest by the most vulnerable, both here in Wales and further afield.

The Welsh Government is currently consulting on a Natural Resource Policy, which will attempt to address this through 3 key themes:

• Accelerating Green Growth
• Delivering Nature-based solutions
• Improving Individual and Community well-being through a place-based approach

On 17 January, Environet will be hosting a 30-minute webinar about this consultation with a presentation from Emily Finney from the Welsh Government’s Natural Resources Policy team.
