Dear member,

In these unprecedented and challenging times for us all, voluntary groups and Third Sector organisations are facing many new challenges in very difficult changing circumstances, whilst being on the front line providing vital support in the community. We understand how important it is to access up to date information, and the pandemic has made this more important than ever, so we have compiled these briefings about funding opportunities and guidance for groups and individuals working with the most vulnerable people in our communities.

  • C3SC’s Local Emergency Support Grant - COVID-19:  C3SC is administering a £25,000 Welsh Government Grant Scheme to help local groups and organisations with unexpected costs from COVID-19 and minimize its impact on the voluntary sector and the communities we serve. The purpose of this small grant is to ensure third/voluntary sector organisations have the resources needed to deliver vital services for those more at risk and in need in their communities during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The grant can fund revenue and/or capital costs including consumables (for example PPE). Organisations can apply for up to a maximum of £1,500. There is no minimum amount. The Scheme is open for applications from 1 May 2020. Application forms and guidance, are available by clicking on C3SC’s Local Emergency Support Grant - COVID-19 or contacting us on This email address is being protected from spambots. In addition, C3SC has produced a series of Directories of Support and Services delivering during COVID-19.  These directories are updated on a regular basis from information provided by groups and organisations through our COVID-19 Survey. Please take a couple of minutes to respond to the survey, which also gives us important details on the impact of COVID-19 on your group or organisation, and will help us to focus our influence and our services to support as many groups as we can.

Stay safe.

Kind Regards,

C3SC Team
