https://llyw.cymru/trais-yn-erbyn-menywod-cam-drin-domestig-thrais-rhywiol-dangosyddion-cenedlaethol-ar-gyfer-cymru

Rydym wedi gweithio gyda’r Cynghorwyr Cenedlaethol a rhanddeiliaid mewnol ac allanol i ddatblygu cyfres o Ddangosyddion Cenedlaethol Trais yn erbyn Menywod, Cam-drin Domestig a Thrais Rhywiol (VAWDASV), er mwyn mesur cynnydd yn erbyn dibenion Deddf VAWDASV. Yn dilyn ymgynghoriad cyhoeddus, gosodwyd y Dangosyddion Cenedlaethol gerbron y Cynulliad Cenedlaethol ar 24 Mehefin 2019 a’u cyhoeddi ar wefan Llywodraeth Cymru ar 26 Mehefin 2019.

Er na wnaeth yr ymatebion i’r ymgynghoriad argymell y dylid dileu unrhyw un o’r dangosyddion, awgrymwyd gwelliannau i’r mesurau a’r ffynonellau data a nodwyd.

Rydym eisiau sefydlu gweithgor sy’n cynnwys y rhanddeiliaid a wnaeth gyfrannu at yr ymgynghoriad a’r rhanddeiliaid sydd wedi mynegi diddordeb mewn bod y rhan o’r gwaith o ddatblygu’r Dangosyddion Cenedlaethol.

Bydd y grŵp yn adolygu’r holl ddangosyddion, mesurau a ffynonellau data ychwanegol a gynigir, gyda golwg ar ddatblygu a chytuno ar unrhyw ddiwygiadau erbyn haf 2020 er mwyn adrodd ar y cynnydd a wneir o ran gweithredu’r strategaeth gyfredol.

Gweithgor Cenedlaethol Trais yn erbyn Menywod, Cam-drin Domestig a Thrais Rhywiol

Bydd y grŵp yn cynnwys rhanddeiliaid o’r sectorau cyhoeddus a phreifat a’r trydydd sector. Byddwn yn sicrhau cynrychiolaeth o sefydliadau sy’n gweithio ym mhob maes sy’n ymwneud â thrais yn erbyn menywod, cam-drin domestig a thrais rhywiol.

Y bwriad yw y bydd y gweithgor yn ystyried pob un o amcanion y Strategaeth VAWDASV Genedlaethol yn eu tro ac yn nodi a chytuno ar y gyfres derfynol o ddangosyddion, mesurau a ffynonellau data ar gyfer pob amcan. Golyga hyn y bydd y grŵp yn cwrdd o leiaf chwe gwaith yn ystod 2019-2020. Ni fydd disgwyl i randdeiliaid fynd i bob un o’r cyfarfodydd os nad yw’r pwnc ar gyfer y cyfarfod dan sylw yn berthnasol i’w maes arbenigedd neu ddiddordeb nhw.

Bydd y grŵp yn cwrdd bob mis yn Swyddfa Llywodraeth Cymru, Tŷ Ladywell, y Drenewydd, Powys, SY16 1JB.

Cynhelir y cyfarfodydd ar y dyddiadau canlynol:

  • Dydd Iau 12 Medi 2019 – Amcan 1: Cynyddu ymwybyddiaeth a herio agweddau ynghylch trais yn erbyn menywod, cam-drin domestig a thrais rhywiol ar draws poblogaeth Cymru
  • Dydd Iau 10 Hydref 2019 – Amcan 2: Cynyddu ymwybyddiaeth plant a phobl ifanc o bwysigrwydd perthnasoedd diogel, cyfartal ac iach a’r ffaith fod ymddygiad camdriniol yn anghywir bob amser
  • Dydd Mercher 13 Tachwedd 2019 – Amcan 3: Mwy o ffocws ar ddwyn cyflawnwyr i gyfrif, a darparu ymyriadau a chymorth iddynt newid eu hymddygiad gyda phwyslais ar ddiogelwch y dioddefwr
  • Dydd Mercher 8 Ionawr 2020 – Amcan 4: Rhoi blaenoriaeth i ymyrryd yn gynnar ac atal
  • Dydd Mercher 12 Chwefror 2020 – Amcan 5: Hyfforddi gweithwyr proffesiynol perthnasol i ddarparu ymatebion effeithiol, amserol a phriodol i ddioddefwyr a goroeswyr
  • Dydd Mercher 11 Mawrth 2020 – Amcan 6: Rhoi mynediad cyfartal i ddioddefwyr at wasanaethau ledled Cymru, a’r rheini’n wasanaethau holistaidd o ansawdd uchel y darperir adnoddau priodol ar eu cyfer, sy’n seiliedig ar gryfderau, sy’n cael eu harwain gan anghenion ac sy’n ymatebol i rywedd.

A fyddech cystal â chadarnhau a ydych yn gallu bod yn rhan o’r gweithgor a pha gyfarfodydd yr hoffech fynd iddynt.

Gallwch gadarnhau eich presenoldeb drwy e-bostio blwch post VAWDASV: [email protected]

Un lle fydd ar gael i bob sefydliad. Fodd bynnag, gall yr unigolyn sy’n bresennol newid o un cyfarfod i’r llall.  Os bydd angen lleoedd ychwanegol ar eich sefydliad chi, byddwn yn cadw enwau ar restr wrth gefn.

We worked with the National Advisers, internal and external stakeholders to develop a set of National Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (VAWDASV) Indicators, to measure progress against the purposes of the VAWDASV Act. Following public consultation, the National Indicators were laid before the National Assembly on 24 June 2019 and published on the Welsh Government website on 26 June 2019.

Although the consultation responses did not recommend that any of the indicators should be removed, there were suggestions for improvements to the measures and data sources identified to report against these measure.

We want to establish a working group made up of the stakeholders that formally fed into the consultation exercise, together with stakeholders who have expressed an interest in being involved in the development of the National Indicators.

The group will review all the proposed additional indicators, measures and data sources with a view to develop and agree any amendments required by the summer of 2020 for reporting against progress made against the implementation of the current strategy.

National Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Working Group

The working group will be made up of stakeholders from the public, third sector and private individuals. We will ensure inclusive representation from organisations working in all areas of violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence.

The intention is that the working group will look at each of the objectives of the National Strategy on VAWDASV in turn and will identify and agree the final set of indicators, measures and data sources for each objective. This will mean that the group will meet at least 6 times during 2019 – 2020. Stakeholders will not be expected to attend all 6 meetings if the topic for that meeting is not relevant to their area of expertise or interest.

The group will meet monthly in the Welsh Government Office, Ladywell House, Newtown, Powys, SY16 1JB.

The following dates have been arranged for the meetings:

  • Thursday 12 September 2019 – Objective 1: Increase awareness and challenge attitudes of violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence across the Welsh Population
  • Thursday 10 October 2019 – Objective 2: Increased awareness in children and young people of the importance of safe, equal and healthy relationships and that abusive behaviour is always wrong
  • Wednesday 13 November 2019 – Objective 3: Increased focus on holding perpetrators to account and provide opportunities to change their behaviour based around victim safety.
  • Wednesday 8 January 2020 – Objective 4: Make early intervention and prevention a priority
  • Wednesday 12 February 2020 – Objective 5: Relevant professionals are trained to provide effective, timely and appropriate responses to victims and survivors
  • Wednesday 11 March 2020 – Objective 6: Provide victims with equal access to appropriately resources, high quality, needs led, strength based, gender responsive services across Wales

Please confirm if you are able to take part in the working group and which meetings you are interested in attending.

You can confirm you attendance by emailing the VAWDASV mailbox:    [email protected]

Places will be limited to one per organisation, however the named individual can change  from one meeting to another.  If additional spaces are required for your organisation we will hold names on a reserve list.
