In 2018, Liam Rahman at E-Qual Education (a Cardiff Commitment company) established a partnership between the Welsh Government’s Seren Network and the Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) summer programme at Yale University, USA. 5 pupils from Cardiff were awarded placements in 2018, with flights sponsored by a number of businesses including Blake Morgan and FOR Cardiff.
This Summer we are delighted that 14 pupils from Cardiff schools will be attending the Seren International Summer Programmes at Yale and Harvard studying topics from Politics, Law & Economics to Applied Science & Engineering. Attached is the full list of schools represented and courses being studied.
The Seren Network are now looking for sponsorship to help with the cost of flights (£700) for pupils.
