Cardiff Third Sector Council was set up in 1997 to provide a range of support services and resources to community groups and voluntary organisations, partnerships and networks in Cardiff. Central to our mission is a range of advice and support ranging from governance to finance, volunteering, funding, planning, communication, training, partnership, participation, influencing policy and more.

C3SC is the umbrella charity for the voluntary sector in Cardiff, and we are pleased to open recruitment for new Trustees, including a Treasurer to join C3SC’s board at an exciting time of growth.
Trustees can play a crucial role in shaping the direction and impact of our ambition, and by working with the C3SC team, you can make a meaningful difference across our communities. By giving your time and skills, you will be sustaining your overall happiness and wellbeing, and be part of contributing to something just as significant across Cardiff and its wider communities to positively benefit those who need it most.
We are particularly looking for people with experience in –
- Finance and Accounting
- Legal and HR
- The not-for-profit sector
The roles will suit anyone interested in strategic leadership and supporting communities, with quarterly meetings and full induction provided.

The Community Outreach Volunteer role is suitable for anyone with an interest in supporting people in local communities to find opportunities for volunteering, signposting them to C3SC for support, and helping them to find charities and activities in their local community.
You will be provided with induction, support, and training. C3SC is the umbrella charity for Cardiff, and we support all kinds of voluntary action. This is a great opportunity to be a part of the team at C3SC and make a real difference in the community!
General tasks:
- Oversee stalls at drop-in sessions, fairs, and community days at various community locations.
- Support people to find suitable volunteering opportunities
- Signpost people to C3SC for information, advice, and support or to other charities and activities in the community.

Here at Headway Cardiff and South East Wales we are committed to improving the lives of people affected by Acquired Brain Injury. We are currently looking for a Support Worker, 5 hours a day Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays, to assist in our Independence and Wellbeing Centre supporting service users to participate in our varied programme of activities and to interact, and with their care and emotional needs where required.
While we value experience, you might have a background as a care or support worker, a qualification in Health and Social Care or Psychology or experience working within a childcare or education setting, what is most important to us is your current capabilities, coupled with your potential to learn and develop.

Rubicon Dance is currently recruiting for an Independent Reviewer to join their team.
Rubicon Dance is leading on the commissioning of an Independent Review of Community Dance Training in Wales and is seeking to appoint a consultant(s) to carry out this work. The Contract will commence in June/July 2026 and run up to the 30th November 2026. The budget available is £11,500 (inclusive of travel, materials and VAT).
