Fully-funded Blood Borne Viruses and HIV Training

This NewLink Wales course is aimed at those people supporting individuals with, or at risk of contracting Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C or HIV.

By the end of the course you should be able to: 

  • Explain the differences between Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and HIV
  • Examine the ways in which BBVs can be transmitted
  • Analyse the fears, stigma and social issues around BBV
  • Describe the referral, testing and treatment process
  • Explore methods and actions that can reduce the risks of harm
