Fresh Start Wales summer tour
- Tuesday, 31 July 2012
Fresh Start Wales has launched its summer phase of the high profile campaign to reduce children's exposure to second-hand smoke.
Throughout the summer holidays, Fresh Start Wales will be heading out across the country to directly engage with families about the issue of smoking in cars. They'll be visiting locations from Barry to Bangor to raise awareness of the dangers associated with second-hand smoke and asking parents to sign up to the Summer Promise – to keep their car free from smoke to protect their children.
The bus tour will be stopping off at these events in South Wales:
Fri 3 to Sun 5 August - Big Welsh Bite, Pontypridd
Sat 4 to Sat 11 August - National Eisteddfod, Vale of Glamorgan
Sat 18 August - Barry Island (to be confirmed)
Sat 25 August - Swansea city centre
Sat 25 August - Porthcawl (to be confirmed)
