A great opportunity to support Barnado's

Please support Barnardo’s at the Cardiff Half Marathon and help raise much-needed funds for the UK’s most disadvantaged children and young people. 

Barnardo’s is once again delighted to be the chosen charity of over 1,500 brave runners at this year’s Lloyds TSB Cardiff Half Marathon on 14^th October. It is a fantastic event seeing both experienced and first-time runners taking on a challenge and raising much needed funds for their chosen charities.

Barnardo’s greatly appreciate their runners' efforts and strive to encourage them throughout their fundraising process and give them a huge amount of support on the day. This could not be possible without the incredible teams of volunteers that are based along the route, motivating and cheering on runners as they take on this challenge.

The Cardiff Half Marathon is a fantastic day to be a part of. Having a great team of volunteers really gives a boost to the whole event and gives essential support to our runners. Do you think you would be able to help?

Barnado's is looking for both individual and groups of volunteers to be stationed at the cheer stations along the route on the event day. This is a brilliant volunteering opportunity where you will experience not only the incredible atmosphere on the day but also be a part of one of Cardiff's biggest events. You will also receive first-hand experience of working with the Barnardo's Events Team and valuable experience working within the charity sector. If you are able to volunteer you will have a choice of different locations and time slots, and you can choose your preferred role and position for the event day.
