Getting serious about sustainable communities
- Tuesday, 03 July 2012
The Community Housing Cymru Group was set up in 2010 and comprises of parent body Community Housing Cymru and two subsidiaries; Care & Repair Cymru and CREW – the Centre for Regeneration Excellence Wales. The group structure was set up to work together to strengthen the voice of housing, care and regeneration in Wales, and encourage collaboration across the three areas.
The group's new website - Under One Roof - has just been launched. It is aimed at helping members and agencies work together towards making their communities more sustainable.
You will find a wealth of resources - from template letters to a document on how to influence locally - to help you work with local councillors and council officers to build relationships and to make them aware of the work you do in their community.
The website also asks visitors to the site to sign up to show support for sustainable communities.
The ‘Your representatives’ section outlines who your local council leader, AM and MPs are. It not only includes their contact details - you can also email from the website.
