Welsh Mental Health Strategy

The Welsh Government is asking for comments by 31 July on its strategy for the future of mental health services in Wales.


Wales-wide drive to reduce harm from alcohol

A joint training programme to reduce the harm caused by alcohol has been launched by Public Health Wales, Cardiff University and the Welsh Government.


Consultation on Active Travel (Wales) Bill

These proposals are aimed at enabling more people to walk and cycle and travel by more active methods. The consultation ends on 12 August 2012.

To mark Dementia Awareness Week, the Welsh Government has launched information packs for people with a diagnosis of dementia.

Transition and beyond

A joint venture between the Down's Syndrome Association and Mencap is offering parents or carers of a young person with a learning disability, and the young people themselves, the chance to find out more about services for young people and adults in their area. For further information please contact the Wales Learning Disability Helpline on 0808 808 1111.
