Practical help is at hand!
- Friday, 15 June 2012
Cardiff Vineyard Church values serving the City and communities in practical ways.
A key aspect of the church is meeting mid-week in smaller groups consisting of 10-12 adults, which once a term aim to give a few hours offering practical one-off help in the community in a variety of ways.
They now have a fantastic resource of around 15 smaller groups stationed across the city, so the idea would be that if you come across a practical project or need in your line of support that Cardiff Vineyard could help with, they would love try to link up a group(s) to come to help you with it.
For example, maybe a vulnerable family you are working with is being re-housed and would really appreciate a team coming to help decorate their house, or someone whose garden is badly overgrown would welcome a team coming to tackle it for them, or perhaps a youth centre needs some help with running some community projects.
They are open to ideas so please do get in touch and they’ll see how they might be able to help out.
