Cardiff Carnival workshops

South Wales Intercultural Community Arts is putting on FREE workshops at Channel View Leisure Centre in the run-up to Cardiff Carnival.

There are free carnival design and making workshops, and free dance workshops.

Here are some dates for your diary:

• Carnival Launch Night - Monday 16 July from 6.30-8pm
• Carnival Workshops every day - Tuesday 17 July to Thursday 2 August from noon to 8pm
• Cardiff Carnival - Saturday 4 August: Street Stage in The Hayes from 10am to 4pm and Carnival Parade in the City Centre from 4-6pm

Flag making workshops

Kinetika is putting on flag making workshops in the run-up to the carnival.

Batik and fabric painting - 11-16 June

Screen printing - 17-18 July

Flag dance and performance - 17 July to 2 August
