Volunteering opportunities

The Welsh Government is in the process of strengthening arrangements to promote employee volunteering and the Volunteering Wales website www.volunteering-wales.net within the organisation.

In order to raise awareness and refresh the volunteering scheme they are establishing an in-house database of organisations which are actively seeking volunteers either on an individual or team basis.   

They are also establishing a Volunteering Development Programme. This programme will consist of specific volunteering opportunities that employees of the Welsh Government will apply to undertake to help their personal development.
