Voluntary Sector consultation on the Welsh Government Social Services Bill

Join other members of local voluntary organisations and contribute towards a consultation response to the Social Services Bill from voluntary organisations in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.

The proposed Social Services Bill will provide a legislative framework for social services in Wales and covers the following areas:

·         maintaining and enhancing the wellbeing of people in need;

·         giving citizens a stronger voice and real control;

·         ensuring a strong national direction and local accountability for delivery;

·         safeguarding and protection;

·         regulation and inspection; and

·         adoption and transitions for disabled children and young people.
