Growing a healthier older population in Wales

Researchers at the Cardiff School of Health Sciences have been investigating whether outdoor physical and leisure activities may offer more benefits to health in later life compared to indoor activities.  Researchers are keen to hear from anyone involved in a community garden or allotment site who may be interested in getting involved in the study. Sexual health and well-being booklet for over 50s

Charity calls on Welsh public to Rule Out Abuse

Age Cymru has launched a campaign to introduce a legal duty to be placed on public bodies, including local authorities, to investigate cases of abuse or potential abuse reported to them.

Change4Life Alcohol Campaign

Funding for lip reading tutors

Welsh Government funding to train lip reading tutors will help reduce social isolation for many of Wales’ deaf and hard of hearing people.


People in Wales cannot identify asbestos in the house

A survey commissioned by the British Lung Foundation has found that 73% of people in Wales are unable to identify asbestos around the home. To raise asbestos awareness, it has launched “http://t.ymlp266.net/ueheaaamhmjaoauealamhe/click.php">Take 5 and Stay Alive” campaign.
