Children’s Services Grant for Family Support Services for Fathers

Children's Services are offering a one year development grant of 70k leading to commissioning of family support services for fathers. The money will be available until 31 March 2013 with the possibility of extending the grant for a further year.

The service should directly promote the welfare of Children in Need rather than the parent's welfare. The service for fathers and male carers will therefore be focused on the benefits of fathers and male carers' engagement with their children and the positive outcomes that this can achieve for children and young people.

The deadline for applications is no later than 12 noon on 11th May 2012.
