Opportunities for economically inactive people in Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan

The Engagement Gateway newsletter for Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan is packed with details of all Gateway projects in the area currently seeking participants. These projects will only be active until 30 June 2012 so now is the time to get involved!

Engagement Gateway is an ESF funded scheme aimed at supported people furthest from the labour market.

• The aim of Engagement Gateway is to reduce economic inactivity across Wales and improve the employability of disadvantaged individuals in society.
• Engagement Gateway projects prepare people for work by developing their skills, attitudes, beliefs and values.
• To be eligible to take part participants must be economically inactive and over 16 years of age. Further eligibility criteria may apply.
• The Engagement Gateway Scheme is funded through the European Social Fund and administered in Wales by the WCVA.
