The 'Engendering Change: Gateway to Opportunity' exciting new course is coming to The Resource Centre, 10g Moira Terrace, Adamsdown, Cardiff CF24 0EJ

Adamsdown Communities First and 'People can' have come together with Women Making a Difference and the Workers' Education Association to offer a unique training programme which gives women - particularly women who are under-represented because of race, disability or age - the opportunity to learn new skills and gain confidence to take a more active role in their community, as well as in public and political life, and have more influence on the decisions that impact on their lives.

The Training is free and lunch will be provided.

The course is accredited by the National Open College Network and successful candidates will receive a NOCN Level 1 progression Award

There will be two weeks of taster/recruitment sessions:

Week 1: Monday 12 and Wednesday 14 March 2012, 10am - 3pm

Week 2: Monday 19 and Wednesday 21 March 2012, 10 am - 3pm

You only need to attend one of the taster/recruitment weeks.

Course starting date: Monday 26 March 2012 until Wednesday 30 May 2012.

The course will be two days a week every Monday and Wednesday 10am – 3pm for 8 weeks.
