Tender opportunity for the delivery of the Funky Dragon Active Citizenship Training

A tender opportunity has arisen for the Delivery of the Funky Dragon Active Citizenship Training (Agored Cymru Accredited). Reach the Heights is a Welsh Government initiative aimed at reducing the number of young people in Wales aged 11-19 years who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), or who are at risk of being so in the future. The project is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF).
The aim of the tender is to deliver the Funky Dragon Active Citizenship training programme to 20 to 25 young people aged between 16 to 18 who are NEET. The young people must live in one of the 15 Convergence local authorities. Up to £4,500 is available per contract; in addition, there is a maximum of £1,500 available to cover eligible costs e.g. venue hire.
Interested parties are invited to attend an open day at either the Wrexham or Swansea Funky Dragon office on Monday 6 of February 2012 between 1.30 and 3.30pm. There is no obligation to attend However, it will give you an opportunity to ask questions and find out more.
