April 2012 E-bulletin
There’s lots to read in the April edition, which is landing in your in-box a little early.
I’d particularly like to draw your attention to the Third Sector Hustings event we’re holding on 17 April, in the run-up to the local elections. It will include a Q & A session with representatives from local parties, so if you have a question to ask – which relates to third sector issues – please take a look at the first article under ‘C3SC News’.
Rowena Shaw, Information Officer
PS As you’ll see, we’re advertising for a new Chief Officer. You’ll find the advert in the ‘Vacancies’ section below.
Local party representatives will answer your questions and tell you what they can do for the third sector.
We’ve now put the selection criteria and application form on our website (scroll to bottom of the web page for the link).
We’ve recently added several new items to the network page – see under ‘News’.
Looking back at 'Helping Out, Staying Out' – C3SC's and VCVS's Health and Social Care Network event
Partners from the NHS, local councils and the third sector came together on 6 March to discuss how the third sector can help reduce or prevent the demands currently pressuring the health services across Cardiff and the Vale.
We’re recording progress through our new blog.
