Rumney

C3SC's Rumney Communities First project is delivered by our Third Sector Officers. Working with local community and voluntary groups, we deliver activities and events to improve the living conditions and prospects of those living in the area.

We deliver the Welsh Government's Communities First programme in a small area of Rumney. If you live on or near the following streets, then you are within the Communities First area.

Through the Communities First project in Rumney, we support a number of groups with regular activities and one-off events. 

In October 2011 we supported the East Cardiff Multicultural Network to deliver a 'Taste of Africa' event to imrprove the understanding of cultures and lifestyles of community members from ethnic minority backgrounds.

On 5 November 2011 we worked with Greenway Primary school and community leaders to run the Big Bang fireworks night to engage young people and tackle antisocial behaviour.
